Next Beta? When?
You can't pressure ppl you aren't paying ... quite frankly, from what I recall of this past beta, it wasn't testing the code that was a problem, it was some of the bugs that came up took a bit more then a few minute fixes ... hell, it says alot when the fix for a beta requests an initdb to get into the next beta,

How can i upgrade to next beta patch without losing saves?
Goodness knows you've got to correct what has so far been a truly haphazard beta release program. If Microsoft's QA guys would get back to work instead of doing television commercials, you wouldn't have to incessantly answer the same question over and over and over again, now would you? Okay, then.

Next Beta for MSPUB
I heard a while back that IBM was going to include Stacker in the next release of OS/2. If so, shouldn't the next Beta include it so that any bugs can be worked out before the GA? I'm not entirely thrilled with the prospect of one big file on my disk. This will be an optional feature I hope. erik

This misunderstanding (which is NOT her fault) would never have occured, if Opera showed a progressbar when decoding Attachments, which is what I'd like to suggest to change for the next beta. This beta has a few quirks, though (Zmodem uploads to my unix host don't work, and Zmodem resume isn't built in yet, to name a couple). I'd like to see the next beta soon, but don't know when it'll be. Does anybody have any ideas/hints about this? I've E-Mailed the author, but received no reply. Any hints anyone?

REQ for next beta.
The beta only starts next month, and given a reasonable estimate for dealing properly with the beta, projecting to Q1 '95 seems likely; still likely to come out 3-4 months earlier than Win '95 :-) Will the beta for OS/2 Warp Version 3 with WinOS2 be available to the public over CompuServe like the last beta?

Any Access 10 News?
There's a new template instantiation scheme for AIX C Set++ building libraries in the next beta as well. It still produces lots of duplicate symbol warnings, but it does it quicker :-) Together with IBM tech support, this is the best we could come up with that wasn't more trouble than it was worth.
